Today is one of the few rare times where i actually stayed at home on a beautiful sunday. im simply reduced to rotting at home and watching vcd (haha, now currently watching korean drama "stairways to heaven") cos mom and dad wanna watch a "the maid". I dun like gg to watching horror movies. simply dun hv the courage, and i dun wan my imagination to run wild. esp now when it's the seventh lunar month. hmmm. well, guess it's a culture to be extra careful during this month. my mom even told mi not to go out till too later (preferably before 12 midnight i shld reach home) cos it's the ghost festival and some what "unsafe".
Went to eat steamboat at marina bay yest! it was soooo nice. i love the atmosphere and all. and yups, being with friends and jus pigging out. ate quite a lot. *burps* though i promised myself not to eat too much. haha, dun wanna become fat. -_- the black pepper chicken and prawns are super nice!! haha, had so much fun eating and talking. actually it's meant to celebrate huimin and kaijie's birthday. We bought a globe puzzle for huimin and billabong shirt for kaijie. lols. the weirdest thing is tt the billabong shirt end up with ming kuan instead. diaox. I can really swear that, i have never, never, never seen a more particular guy than mingkuan. he is simply juz VAIN. yups, im serious. he is vainer than girls, i shall say.
After stealing a plate of chilli crabs from the steamboat restaurant besides ours, he came back to the table and lament that the sauce is all over his "branded" shirt. that's a bit of exaggeration there, cos it is jus a few little spots that is hardly noticeable. he was so flustered and all and asked everyone (there are 12 of us there) at least twice if there are any shops ard that sell clothes. omgosh. buy one new shirt jus becos his shirt got these few unnoticeable spots? then he went on to complain that when he was talking down these row of tables (in his dirtied shirt), everyone is looking at him, which according to him, is highly possible due to his shirt. gosh. i think it's more likely tt ppl looked at him cos he steal food from another restaurant lor. ahahax. All of us assured him that it looked ok (which is nothing but the truth), but being thoroughly unconvinced, he grumbled that he wan to go home in a TAXI, cos he dun wan to be seen in a dirtied shirt. *bangs wall* i almost laughed out loud!! and his expressions and all, is like so serious lar. all becos of tt close to perfect (as in clean) shirt. he even refused to touch the free ice cream, with courtesy from the restaurant. Well, i think the funniest thing was that he ordered some ppl to buy mineral water, so that he can use H20 and tissue to clean his shirt. and so he did. VIGOROUSLY. omgomg. all these was even we gave kaijie his present.
At long last, when the dinner is ending, we gave the two bdae kids the presents. and when kaijie opened it, everyone saw that it was a shirt. I think mingkuan's eye sparkled when he saw it. lols. he made plans immediately to "borrow" the shirt from kaijie. actually he even wanted to buy it from him. but he didn't in the end. so ya, he became less sulky after tt.
took pics, take bus and mrt home after that. reached home at 12 sth am. it was a weird thing when we alight from the mrt at exactly 12 midnight. *shivers* well, we had a nice time walking home tgt (it's also less scary when u are walking home in a big grp), talking n laughing on the way. thanks everyone, for making such a normal day happy.
back to todae. tried to do some hw, to no avail. sundays are simply "off days" to me. my brain doesnt seem to b working at all. ending of stairways to heaven is quite saddening.. jus finished it todae. but ya, i tot it was pretty touching the way the brother killed himself to donate his cornea to his sis. love is so powerful. *sobs* even then, the sis and her husband didnt get to live happily ever after, cos she died shortly after tt due to cancer. awwww... why cant korean dramas hv happier endings? i think the closest to happier ending is winter sonata (dong ji lian ge), where at least the couple get to b tgt in the end, though the guy ended up being blind from a car accident. sis is slightly depressed after finishing stairways to heaven. well, cant blame her really. in the whole drama, i daresay that the people in it are crying half of the time. gosh.
k, shant say no more here. back to sch tml. eeeks. it's gonna b a busy week. yawns. with uncomplete tutorials and all.
