This is an article from the sunday times, 27aug. Omg pluto is NOT a planet anymore!! dunno if i can get used to this new change or not. since young, we've been taught that pluto is the smallest and the furthest planet in our solar system. Now the answer as to the smallest planet has to be changed because of some warped definition.
pluto is not a planet because apparently it doesn't fulfil this definition of "clearing its neighbourhood around its orbit."
Who came up with this arrh?? I mean, it must be a definition after pluto was found right? since it will never be a planet in the first place, if there was this definition in place in the 1930s. So if one day the definition of a human change to sth like "a homosapien is someone who has the innate ability to swim and walk"? I know it sounds corny. but anyway, i will definitely not be labelled "human" if there is this definition in place cos i CAN'T swim. zzzz.
seriously have no idea why man are so obessed with definitions.
but it was kind of fortunate tt it wasn't uranus that has 'died', cos it's my favourite planet!! i have no idea why i like it. i just do. A picture of uranus. Soooo pretty right? it's unique in the sense that it's tilted at an unusual angle, has 21 moons (i think), and is one of the three planets in our solar system that has a ring ard it (the others are jupiter and saturn). The last time i read up abt it, it has eleven rings. wonder if they found any more?
oh, for your information, the smallest planet now is "mercury", and there are "eight planets revolving ard the sun". so don't go writing the wrong facts.
I'm so fascinated by the outer space! if im a genius or sth, i wld hv studied real hard to get to NASA and be singapore's first astronaut. hehehe. but pity im not :(
ok since im at it, has anyone seen Mars, which is supposed to be visible to the naked eye on 27aug? i can't see a thing. either im blind, or because the sky is red that night, or it's a hoax.
I just hv to content myself with looking at pictures of it.
Poor dar. her "pretty" died on her, so she can't go online or whatever, so she'll probably not see this post anyway. in any case, i sincerely offer my condolences.

oh goodie i passed my gp paper 2. i was ever so surprised when i saw my paper cos that paper was a killer, according to all (including the teachers), and ard 30+ % in our sch pass that paper? But please don't set all this kind of papers again, cos it's definitely off and super de-moralising to do such a difficult paper.
getting sick soon. im surrounded by different kind of bacteria and viruses, since so many ppl are sick, and they are all probably infected by diff stuff. I'm bound to get at least one of them right? sighx. challenge my immune system, im muz be mentally ill cos im daring my fear (according to stephen king). =(
