It's Vesak Day and a public holiday, as everybody knows, and I'm being a good little girl, staying at home and doing some girly stuff like baking. Always had this interest in baking, and I simply love the thrill of seeing for the first time what your creation turns out to be like. Really exciting to see what becomes of your hardwork after it has been through the oven. Don't you agree?
Today is a little more special, cos I baked two things - a butter sponge cake and butter cookies. I was trying to improve on my butter cookies and it turns out really good today. =)))) Shall try choc chip cookies and muffins next time.

Tired... Been preparing, baking and washing from morning till late afternoon. yawns.
Tomorrow will be working full day already. There comes my mundane, dull, money-orientated life. Goodbye half-days. :(

Vesak Day baking @ 11:35 PM
