Taken @ 1:31 AM

Right after finishing my exams (like finally), went out with Jessie and Caren for a shopping cum good food cum movie session. Actually we wanted to watch Knowing, but the timings were all very weird. So, we settled on Taken instead. I know, both these movies has been on air for very long, but I have been movie-deprived since my exams started. So, I guess those who want to watch the movie have already watched, so even if I talk about the content, I won't be a spoiler. Right? Right??

This movie exceed my expectations! Far far exceed. I went into the cinema thinking that "this is just another normal action-packed movie", but I came out a taken convert. There was never a dull moment in the movie. In addition, I thought this movie was a good blend of action and a father's love for his daughter. Though his daughter was unappreciative for the most part, he still sacrified a lot for her - turning Paris upside down, risking his own life, just to save her daughter from prostitution. It also disturbs me that girls were treated as "purchases" in the movie. In some other part of the world unknown to us, girls were still sold for men's pleasure. It's digusting.

A bit lazy to share my thoughts on this movie with you, but I'll just say that it's a good movie to catch! certainly. Go catch it if you haven't yet. =p
