Wah, today is a memorable day. I have lived in this beautiful world for close to seventeen years, and today is the first time i use a walkie takie (wrong spelling)! haha, damn cool lor. take that thing walk around, exactly like a heroic policeman doing rounds! *ahem ahem*. if it wasn't for tt fact tt police need to have tough physical training and good aiming skills, i would have wan to be a policewoman. wahaha.
was a bit embarrassed today. my group (which includes me, pam and tilin) is called echo 02 and echo 01 has to relay some message to us tt the guests and important people have arrived. By the way, if u all are wondering, we are road marshalls. damn hot standing at some lonely junction in NTU... grr. but quite fun using walkie talkie.
someone from echo 01 was saying something like "echo 01 to echo 02. over." then i replied: "echo 02 to echo 01, over WHAT?" lol.. kanna talked to by teacher as a result. ok, im a mountain tortoise, dunno how to use roger that, over, bla bla bla. Anyway, another funnier thing occured during the prac. nancy (from echo 01) actually took the walkie talkie, and started saying : "to pamela.." and sang lee hom's "ni jiu shi wo de wei yi" in a voice as clear as day! pam was so pai seh that she blushed red. as a result, teacher used the walkie talkie and said: "to all echoes. pls do not abuse the walkie talkie." damn funny lar.. haha. i tink nancy didnt realise that, the whole group of people using walkie talkies can hear her. lolz.
we got the chalet! woohoo, damn cool lar. but it falls on thur, fri and sat. wonder if the poly students from 2/8 can make it or not. hope they can! cos 16 jun (thur) is my bdae! nice to have all ur friends to celebrate with u. actually, the chalet was not planned wif my bdae in mind, it jus happened tt it falls on my bdae. cool seh. but i hope i will not be "played" that day. cos birthday girls has all the bad luck (think of bdae bash).
the legend of birthdays: i heard some people said that, birthdays are supposedly the most unluckiest day of the year in a person's life. i dunno why, but this legend goes on like that. so people have to organise happy celebrations on the day to ward the bad luck away. believe it or not, its up to you.
finally finished my 36 strategies homework. whew. but i got another mountainful of homework. yucks. the flu virus is infecting lots of ppl lately.. hmmm to all those who are sick, take care of urself and drink lotsa water!
