Before Saturday, I was kind of anticipating this dinner cruise event I would be attending with my mom. But that was before. Now, I would rather die than sit on a cruise, or a yacht, or anything that floats on water. Actually, I was aware that I was seasick. when i was young, I travelled on star cruise and was sick like hell. That was so many many donkey years back, and I did not expect this problem to carry on until now.
The instant I stepped on that cruise (queen harbour), I could only feel giddiness. That was fine, I told myself. It will be over in a few minutes. Boy, was I wrong. The nauseous feeling carried on through out, and I was unable to do anything except sit there. After swallowing two mouthfuls of rice with obvious difficulty, I threw up only after around five minutes.
such a disgusting event. The food was like half-digested. urgh......
In conclusion, dinner on cruise may seem like a romantic idea, with those beautiful views and gentle sea breeze (smooth rocking motion if you must), but please, please do not bring me there ever again. Not for a gathering, not for a date, not for anything in the world. When one is sick, even the most beautiful views, the most delicious food, the most pleasant people, will be blocked out by the disgusted mind.
