Jus came back from school. Nothing much actually, jus watch some play than can go home liao. yipee! JJ nite today; think im going ba.. anyway, next week onwards, cannot really play liao. Sian diao.
It was strange how people in the past invent festivals. I mean, what's the point of celebrating something like "april's fool"? Obviously, no one will admit that they are fools right? Maybe except Feste in twelfth night, since fools are considered to be smart in the shakespearian times. Lol.. If a person wan to play a trick on some other ppl, they can do so any old time. Same goes for valentine's day. I'm not saying that i don't like it. Yups, i agree that its sweet and everything, but i really dun understand why we must celebrate, when u can show ur love throughout the year instead of jus on that particular day? But now, valentine's day is all about chocolates and flowers. Hmm.
Today was quite an enriching day, since I wondered about so many strange things. In the morning, when I was bathing, a thought suddenly struck me. The best things in the world are free. For instance, the air that we breathe, the life we were given, love,etc. So why do people care so much for physical stuff? Think about that.
Then when I was watching the play about masks, I found myself agreeing with the performer himself. Everybody wear masks. How many of us actually reveal urself to the real world? Like the ettiquette we practise; isn't that just a glamourous front, just to show people how well-mannered u are? I'm not saying that it's not important, but no doubt, it's just a mask. when we meet problems in life, how many of us actually say it out loud, and ask for advice? Few. The rest of us just wear a happy front, pretending that the problem never existed before. Do we feel more confident hiding behind a mask? Hmm.
enough now; im gonna catch a quick nap before gg to jj nite. Who knows? Maybe.... i will find myself wondering about other things again. ssshh.
